INTERESTING QUESTION TO ASK SOMEONE
WITH WHOM WOULD IT BE????????????
1. I would trade places with a Billionaires daughter.
Since I only had a week, I would fly to different places in the USA that I wanted to see. Along the way I would help people that needed it. I would purchase my ticket and pay for the next person's ticket. The next person that went to buy a ticket, the ticket person would say, "Your ticket has already been paid for". BEFORE I LEFT TOWN, I would pay for the whole building project at our church. I would hire a MINISTER OF MUSIC assistant from Atlanta Georgia the "Georgia Mass Choir" to assist our music program. I would hire/pay professional singers to lead the choir - junior and senior. Lead Soprano, Lead Alto, Lead Tenor and Bass. I would hire a Praise Band to sing before worship starts. I would hire an advertising company to promote our church ministry with billboards, flyers, web sites and other media commercials, radio segments. They all would work under the supervision of our pastor with the goal that all members, band persons, choir members, secretaries, people holding offices in the church, deacons, deaconesses would be saved and bring others to the saving grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ who DID die on the cross for all our sins. DON'T let anyone tell you different.
2. I would trade places with my dad's grandfather, Dietrich REIL, who came to USA in 1880 from Edewecht, Oldenburg, Germany to America.
I would start in Germany so I would know my German relatives. See the house that he was born in. Meet Dietrichs other brothers that stayed in Germany. Experience the ship ride coming to the USA and coming through Ellis Island. How brave to have come to an unknown land.
3. I would trade places with Johnny Carson on the Tonight Show for a week.
I would have people I wanted to meet on the show. Monday I would have the cast of the original Star Trek on. I would meet Captain Kirk, Spock, Dr McCoy "Bones", Scotty, Sulu, Uhura, & Chekov- Jim Fowler would bring Baby Lions- Comedian - George Carlin - Musical Guest RICK SPRINGFIELD!!
Tuesday I would have the cast of the Carol Burnett Show on. I would meet Carol, Harvey Korman, Tim Conway & Vicky Lawrence - Jim Fowler would bring Baby Tigers - Comedian - Eddie Murphy - Musical Guest EARTH, WIND & FIRE !!!!!
Wednesday I would have basketball players I want to meet on the show. I would meet Julius Erving, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Spud Webb, & Michael Jordan - Jim Fowler would bring baby Snow Leopards - Comedian - Chris Rock - Musical Guest MARIAH CAREY !!!!
Thursday I would have famous people I want to meet on the show. I would meet Elvis Presley, Smokey Robinson, Quincy Jones, Kenneth Edmonds, Jerry Lee Lewis & Garth Brooks - Jim Fowler would bring Baby Chimpanzee & Baby Orangutan - Comedian - Chevy Chase - Musical Guest THE TEMPTATIONS - (Actors from the Movie) but playing with THE ORIGINAL FUNK BROTHERS from Detroit, MI!!!
Friday I would have more people I want to meet on the show. I would meet the Tennessee Titans football team/coach. Have my son race Chris Johnson and see who really is the FASTEST. lol, John Travolta, Jim Brinkman, Jon Secada, & Michael Card- Comedian - Bill Cosby Musical Guest MICHAEL JACKSON/JANET JACKSON
WHAT A GREAT WEEK OF TV THAT WOULD BE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
4. I would trade places with a musical prodigy
I don't think there's a greater feeling then playing your own created music. To actually be able to play the music that you have in your head, to know the chords and make the rhythm, beat and harmonies come alive. To experience that for one week would be a dream come true for me. Music is an expression of your soul. Just like people have different finger prints, all people have different musical notes and words that express who they are. People who write/create the music are the true artists. Anyone can sing someone elses song, but it takes a true musician to put there own creativity out there and say, Here I am...This is ME.
5. I would go back to when I was a teenager and relive a week of living in Ipswich, SD and being with my family, brothers, sisters and high school friends.
I would go back to a week when I was a sophmore in high school. I was a cheerleader and our pep band played on Friday night for basketball games. Our band would play, "Rubberband Man"..The drums would be kicking it ..... The trumpets would come in. Hold their note and the other instruments would come in. We had a great band instructor and they played some great songs. After the game, everyone would meet downtown at Hips Tiger Den. We'd all play pool, snooker, pac man and space invaders. Great memories...Good Times. :0)

Earth, Wind & Fire (5/16) - September
CHECK out these 70's clothes. I love the 2nd singers POLKA DOT PANTS. How funny!!!ANOTHER one of my "Songs from the past" I grew up loving this song. Can't help but get busy cleaning, working, something...to this. ENJOY!!! Be sure and listen to it after they finish the song. A lady calls in and tells the group a funny story about her BIRD liking to listen to the group. LOL
Earth, Wind and Fire - After the love has gone
This is one of my favorite 70's bands. Earth, Wind and Fire. Great Group singing, playing. Very talented band. Harmonies. I think some people are just born musicians. This band has always been one of the best. LISTEN to the piano player on here. This is live. They all blend. The sax player. GREAT. LOVE IT...one of the best group live songs I've heard.
American Idol - Alexandréa Lushington - Spinning Wheel
EVERY time I watch American Idol, the person I want to win always gets voted off. They say it's about who is the BEST Singer and BEST performer. I think the young girls just vote for the cute teenage boys REGARDLESS of their talent. Judges need to have more power in the voting.
ALEXANDREA LUSHINGTON - MY PICK TO WIN AMERICAN IDOL
This is when she gets voted off. I grew up listening to both of the songs she sang. I love Spinning Wheel and "If You Leave me Now" by Chicago. I thought she did the best. She took an old song and make it current. She's only 17 and sings songs from the '70's. My kind of musician. NOTE: the boy she goes down to hug is named David Archuletta. Apparently, they were on star search together when they were around 8 years old. They both got on American Idol and didn't realize until they were in Hollywood that they knew each other from Star Search. Their parents remembered each other and their families were hanging out. SMALL WORLD, HUH !!!!!!
ONE OF MY FAVORITE BANDS - BOSTON - Lead Singer commits suicide
Brad Delp is this singers name that died from suicide. He was very talented and had a GREAT voice. See more INFO under the page maked favorite Music and Musicians. Click on the webpage typed under the opening statement and it will take you to pages on the web regarding these musicians.
